Soundbar 600

This was a combined video and stills shoot for Bose’s latest Soundbar. The soundbar was specifically designed with upward firing speakers to reflect sound off the walls and ceilings to fully immerse you in whatever content you choose to experience. With this unique product feature we centered our creative around the idea of using the movement of sound as a way to carry us through various customer listening occasions. The overall camera movement represented the sound, which helped serve telling the story of the product while keeping the video dynamic throughout.

ONLINE VIDEO

This was a 1 day shoot where we were able to capture 3 different scenarios with their own unique lighting setups that represented different times of day. We highlighted key listening moments that were primary use cases for our consumers (Me time, Date night, and Movie night). We used dynamic camera moves to show how the sound moves through a space and immerses someone in their experience. We worked closely with our production partners to carefully plan each camera move and left room on the day to experiment with additional shots. We finally paired video with a upbeat track that helped drive the story and also punctuated moments with a layer of sound effects to create a balanced piece.

 
 
 
 

PHOTOGRAPHY

We captured stills of talent in their respective scenarios. We made sure to carve out dedicated time for photography so that it could also get the same care and attention as the video. Outside of the unique lighting setups we also made use of interesting angles that helped break up the usual stationary activity of watching TV.

 
 
 
 

dynamic content

We created some exploded views of the product that dove into the very specific technology that went into the soundbar. These would be used to not only give insight into the product but also serve as lower funnel assets part of a product page to help consumers when making their purchase. There was great attention to detail in product accuracy of the render but also in overall animation of the seamless loop.
